Rate Notebook is designed to measure your connection without collecting information about you. This page explains what that means in practice.
Your results
Speed, ping and jitter are calculated by your browser and shown only on your screen. They are not saved on our server or sent anywhere for storage.
When you close or reload the page, the results are gone.
Test data
The data transferred during a test is random filler generated for the measurement. The server discards uploaded test data immediately and keeps no copy.
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies and does not store personal data in your browser's local storage. There are no accounts, logins or forms of any kind.
No analytics or third parties
We do not use analytics services, tracking counters or advertising. Every script, font and image on broakendreams.cv is served from our own server; no third-party resources are loaded.
Server logs and your address
Our web server is configured to keep no access logs of visitors. The site does not determine or display your network address or your provider.
All connections to broakendreams.cv are encrypted with HTTPS.
Changes to this page
If the way the site works ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
